I recently had drinks with some friends and told them there were two recipes they had to bake because I literally can't stop making them myself. Now, I wanna share with you!

First up, these Malted Chocolate Chip Cookies. Ohmygod. They are so good. Freeze like a dream, too. Seriously, make them. Today.

The second is the Bubbly Pizza Focaccia. If you're a fan of super fluffy pizza dough, this is your jam (if not, stick to my regular pizza recipe for a crunchier, thinner crust). This dough needs a long, lingering time for both rises and is perfect for a lazy weekend day spent lounging around the house.

And since we're talking obsessions, I have to include these Foolproof ​Buttermilk Blueberry Scones. I literally can't stop with these. They bake up super light and moist and they're loaded with fresh, juicy berries. They are next-level delicious and you just have to bake them stat.

Get Ready for Glorious June Baking!

My cookie dough freezer stash is depleted (😩) and June is officially here, which means I'll be whipping up all of the beauties above, plus these irresistible gems:

  1. ​Cool Refreshing Coconut Cake tastes just as delicious at room temperature as it does chilled – your new go-to summer cake!
  2. ​Flavor Bomb Pesto Pizza, because basil and tomatoes and pizza dough are the ultimate trifecta. I like to use this pizza dough recipe, but the pesto and toppings from the pesto recipe post. I'll connect all of my pizza recipes to this post eventually, but until then, know that the Mushroom Pizza is the pizza dough recipe I use the most.
  3. ​Chocolate-Dipped Oatmeal Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich Cookies because we are on the precipice of summer! πŸ₯³ This is for all of my It's It fans (iykyk).
  4. ​Salted Olive Oil Chocolate Cookies are always one of my absolute favorite chocolate chip cookie recipes! They hit all the right notes with texture, flavor, and balance from both olive oil and butter. Heaven.
  5. ​Springy Blackberry Streusel Muffins that are loaded with berries and zesty lime zest. Blackberries don't get the year-round love that blueberries and strawberries do and when they're in season they are perrrrfection!

An Update!

Last month was a big one! I had two eye surgeries where they replaced the lenses in my eyes. My right eye went from 20/2100 😳 to 20/25 and I still can't believe I CAN SEE WITHOUT GLASSES! Science is amazing. Which is why we skipped a new recipe last week. *BUT* it was also my birthday and I made a truly fabulous cake that you'll have coming this weekend and I hope it is the cake you use for all of your summer celebrations.

And this month, my daughter, Stella, is graduating from the University of Washington, Seattle and I am so proud and excited for her. Lots of be thankful for as we go into one the hottest, happiest seasons.
