Brown Butter Blondies
"These are the most delicious things ever. I have no self control with them. Lol. I normally loveee chocolate chips in things, but these are so good, I prefer to leave the chocolate chips out to fully taste the delicious bars. Pecans are also a delicious addition!

Malted Chocolate Chip Cookies
"These Cookies are DELICIOUS!! I have made them several times over the Holidays & they were a Huge Hit every time. Thank you for clear, detailed instructions and Excellent Notes. I did not weigh my butter after browning & trusted your instructions (which was perfect) but I do appreciate you calling me β€œQueen”! lol ;-D Thank you so much…YUM! :-P"

Fudgy Brown Butter Brownies
"These were some of the best brownies I’ve ever had. Great recipe, will definitely be making them again soon!"
Hannah

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Chewy S'mores Cookie Bars
"I made these for my grandson’s confirmation party (he loves s’mores) and they were a hit!! I didn’t have the exact size pan, but I used the closest I had in square inches. They came out wonderfully, the center fell slightly but that did not detract from the look when cut and displayed, and certainly not the yummy taste. I am not normally a s’mores or even a marshmallow fan but even I was scarfing these up."
Donna

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Soft Sugar Cookie Recipe
"Simply the BEST soft sugar cookie!. Doubling the Vanilla & adding a bit of Almond extract makes these STELLAR!"
Lo

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Fluffy Pizza Focaccia
"Hi Rebecca! I’ve made a lot of focaccia in my life and this is the best recipe I’ve used so far. The focaccia is so light and fluffy. My family loved it and everything came together in about 4 hours. Thank you for sharing this recipe."
Austin

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My Favorite Pimento Cheese
"Everyone needs to try this. It is amazing!"
Sally

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Granny Pete's Chocolate Cake with Marshmallow Frosting
"This is my twelve year old’s favorite cake!! I’ve probably made it 6 times since discovering it sometime during the pandemic, and the true test is that it’s now written out in my book of best recipes. Thank you for sharing and such great directions (plus the grams, love it when I can use my scale!)."
Nicole

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Coffee Toffee Cookies (inspired by Levain Bakery!)
"Rebecca! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again-you are THE cookie goddess! I just made these and my husband took them to Starbucks to all our friends-and they got RAVED reviews! I only used 1 tablespoon of espresso-I’m sending everyone the link! Just SO damn good!!!"

There is just so much heaviness in the world right now. I always want to be a bright spot in your inbox or your day. That's the entire premise of what I do: to spread some joy. But it would be disingenuous for me to act like business as usual. Because it's not.

Our government is supposed to be working for us, not against us. I have always been open about my political beliefs and if you don't know, I'm a democrat (wouldn't be hard to find out). But I think this moment is more than being on the right or left. We've reached a point where the conversation is about morality, freedom, equality, voting rights, accountability, our state & individual rights and what it truly means to be a democratic country. When constitutional rights are being violated, we all have to stand up. The best way I know how, is to reach out to our representatives and be loud and constant.

I posted on my Instagram stories that I'm happy to help people figure out who their representatives in congress are and I'm happy to extend that here as well.

If you want to reach out to your representatives and don't know how or don't know what to say, I am happy to help (just reply to this email!🀝🏼). You can also find this information via google search (Example: google 'Saint Louis, Missouri congress representatives contact information') or use the website 5calls.org and you'll find all of the information in one spot. But again, I'm happy to help with this!

Two weeks ago I emailed my reps and I plan on doing it again today. I prefer email because I find it's easier to sift through my thoughts.

If you don't understand what I'm talking about I am happy to have a genuine conversation about all of this with any of you. Just hit reply and let's talk about it. If you want to argue or be rude, then this isn't the relationship for you. Simple scroll to the bottom of this email and unsubscribe, and I wish you well. Sincerely.✌🏼

In the meantime, take care of yourselves. Baking, reading and walking are three of my favorite things to just completely chill out. To that end, I have paused working on the Blueberry Muffin Bread (it wasn't perfect and I needed a break from it lol). I have taken up working on some really gorgeous yeasted Cinnamon Raisin Bread. Cross your fingers final testing goes well this week and you'll have it in your inbox this weekend!

Lots of love to you!

Hi Reader! Valentine's Day treats fall into three categories: Breakfast: because who doesn't want to wake up to something delicious?! Sweet Treats: Think cookies and truffles... Snacks, basically. Dessert: Like, proper dessert. The thing you're going to dive into after a really delicious meal. This year, these are my top contenders... Breakfast: Raspberry Scones, Strawberry Scones, Raspberry Cinnamon Rolls, Danishes (I would use this lemon curd recipe in place of the sweet plum filling) &...

Hi Reader! Here they are! My mom loves the lemon ricotta pancakes from Scarlett Begonia's, so I had it on the January agenda to make my own version of them. BUT, before I even got started I was completely pressed by having to go out and get ricotta. It's just not an ingredient I use much. Greek yogurt, on the other hand, is always in my fridge! I did a couple of things to make these Lemon Greek Yogurt Pancakes extra fabulous: One-bowl recipe. If you use a microwave-safe bowl, you could even...
