New! Juicy Blackberry-Lime Muffins πŸ‹β€πŸŸ© (with my favorite blonde streusel!)

Good afternoon Reader!

I am a muffin baker through and through. I feel about muffins the same way I do about scones...and cookies...and so many other delicious things we bake.

When done right they're an effortless way to elevate your mornings whilst hopefully padding around the kitchen still in your pjs and fluffy socks.

Last spring Stella took me to Cafe Solstice in Seattle and we ate the yummiest Blackberry Streusel Muffins. I'm talking A++.

I promptly flew home and made these Raspberry Streusel Muffins that have been a year-round, rain-sleet-or-snow, favorite (much to my surprise because I thought they would be seasonal!).

And guess what? That tells me you're muffin people too.

I'm very into the blackberry-lime flavor combo right now, so no better time than right this instant (this week!) to share these Blackberry Streusel Muffins with you.

They're everything we're looking for in a muffin:

  • Bursting with sweet, juicy blackberries (that we halve for more berries in every bite)
  • Speckled with lime zest throughout the fluffy, moist muffin base
  • Topped with a crispy lid of my favorite spring-time blonde streusel
  • They're one-bowl adjacent: the streusel + muffin batter can be mixed in the same bowl without cleaning (but you'll still need a bowl to stash the streusel in the fridge while you mix the muffins)
  • Two toppings: blonde streusel or a lime sugar (recipe below the muffin recipe in the Notes section); I love options

Make them, share them, drink champagne with them and let me know what you think. I can't wait to hear!!

I hope your weekend is everything you want it to be!

Soft & Chewy
Peanut Butter Cookies

This one-bowl recipe yields PB cookies that are soft, chewy and basically the ideal bendy cookie texture (bonus: they're ready in 30 minutes!).

Malted Chocolate Chip Cookies

Loaded with a delicious combination of flavors (brown butter, dark brown sugar, vanilla and malted milk powder), these cookies are the ultimate chocolate chip cookie experience!

Brownie-Like Coffee Toffee Cookies

Picture the most perfect soft, double chocolate cookie base and then load it up with the flavor of espresso, crunchy milk chocolate-toffee candy bars and bits of melty chocolate puddles.

Bubbly Pizza Focaccia

Bubbly focaccia dough is covered with my favorite pizza sauce, some low-moisture mozzarella and finally spicy pepperoni. See recipe for overnight focaccia instructions.

5-Ingredient Pizza Sauce

My favorite 5-ingredient pizza sauce uses pantry staples and no-cooking to make the most delicious pizza sauce ever! Ready in just 3 minutes, you will love this delicious recipe!

Soft & Tender Raspberry
Cream Scones

Behold the best Fresh Raspberry Scone recipe! With an unbelievably moist and tender texture, they dazzle with juicy fresh raspberries, sunny lemon zest and a touch of warm cinnamon (YUM!). Perfect as is or mega fabulous with either a bright lemon glaze or this easy vanilla glaze.

Raspberry Lemon
Loaf Cake

This one bowl Raspberry Lemon Loaf Cake is super easy (nothing fancy in the ingredient department) and LOADED with juicy raspberries and bright, fresh lemon flavor. It's the perfect snacking cake!

Hi Reader! I am extremely fussy when it comes to scones. They have to be moist, flavorful and taste just as great the next day. I've been on a bit of a bakery bender this year, visiting them wherever I go. If you live on the central coast of California, I cannot recommend the croissants at Bread Bike in San Luis Obispo enough. Truly transcendent. Perfection. The individual Chicken Pot Pies from Macrina Bakery in Seattle? I crave them (and made my own version if we're interested πŸ‘€). The...

Good afternoon Reader! Happy Friday! If I don't love the way a recipe looks then I typically don't promote it much...which was the case with this Raspberry Lemon Loaf Cake. So I updated the photos and the entire blog post and I'm in love with it all over again! As you can see from the photos, the crumb is light, fluffy and perfectly moist. It's loaded with fresh raspberries and lemon zest, and then covered in a lemony lemon glaze. In a word, perfect. I made some minor edits to the recipe: a...
