The Chocolate Chip Muffins I Can't Stop Eating 🀀

Happy weekend Reader!

I'm going to need you to stop everything, cancel your plans, and make these muffins!

They have the most tender, moist crumb (thanks to sour cream and buttermilk) and are loaded with flavor (from cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla...the muffin trifecta). The interiors are dotted with mini chocolate chips (regular are fine, too!) and then there's the topping...

I made Sourdough Bagels last weekend and created a brown sugar-cinnamon topping that was inspired by these Cinnamon-Sugar Crunch Bagels from King Arthur Baking. They were honestly, so damn good.

I knew the topping I made for the bagels would be perfect for these muffins. They're timeless and so fall, all at the same time.

Chocolate Chip Muffins are a classic for a reason, but this topping takes them to the next level. πŸš€

This is a one-bowl (ish) recipe that will be ready in under an hour. I also include ingredient substitution options for the buttermilk, sour cream and Demerara...so you won't have to get out of your pajamas (hopefully) to make these!

I can't wait to hear what you think!!!

Wishing you a beautiful weekend.

Hi Reader! Hey beautiful! Let's talk about brown butter, because if you're not using it, you're not living. It's a simple step that takes a recipe from "pretty good" to "I-can't-stop-eating-this." I’m talking about a flavor that's nutty, toasty, and has more personality than a celebrity chef. And the best part? It’s SO easy to make. Just follow these simple rules: Use a light-colored pan. This is crucial, people! You need to see those little golden bits (aka toasted milk solids) at the bottom...
