Happy Wednesday Reader! We worked on so many technical and unsexy π website things over the summer that I won't bother you with the minutia. *BUT* I would like to share two new features on the website that I think you'll like! The first feature is Saved Recipes. You can create an account on DisplacedHousewife (you'll have the option to use your Google login or create a unique login for DH). This way you can save all of the recipes you love and want to bake in one easy spot. And second, we have Emailing Recipes. I have a folder in my email originally called 'Recipes' and I email myself recipes all of the time. It's great to browse through saved recipe when you're looking for inspo or just want to remember something delicious. See below for details on how to do both! I'm also sharing the Top Five Saved Recipes this month, scroll down to see! ππΌ I hope your day is aces!! Rebecca xo PS As always, when we add new features we welcome your feedback!! Just hit reply and let us know your thoughts! π There are two ways to Save Recipes to your own personal account. Click the π€SAVE button (the middle button in the photo above) and it will prompt you to sign in (using either your Google login or you can create a new login specific to DisplacedHousewife, whichever floats your boat). It will then save the recipe for you. You can also click the pink & white heart on the far right of the web page (see above) and it will likewise prompt you to sign into your account to save the recipe. To Retrieve your Saved Recipes, simply click the pink looking glass icon (just below the heart in the above image) and your user name will appear in the upper right-hand corner of the web page (or it will ask you to sign in), click on that and you'll see all of your saved recipes! In the top third of every recipe will be a pink box like the one above. βπ» Add your email and it will send you the recipe so you'll have it for future reference. I'm thinking I need to create email sub-folders for the months of the year so that every September, I can easily grab my seasonal favorites.π If you have any questions on either of these features, please send them my way! Now let's get to the fun stuff...some of you have already been saving recipes!

Hi Reader! Hello, beautiful! This week I want to share a recipe that I'm always excited to bake: my favorite Lemon Raspberry Loaf. It's bright and little tangy from the lemon, it's laced with fresh raspberries and it tastes like someone bottled May sunshine and poured it into a loaf pan. It is the ultimate spring bake. Here's what I love about this cake: it's elegant enough to bring to a brunch but easy enough to make on a Tuesday night when you just need something beautiful in your life. No...
Hi Reader! Friend! May is basically nature's way of saying bake something beautiful! The strawberries are popping off in the garden, the sun is staying longer and a leisurely weekend brunch feels practically mandatory. I've pulled together 10 of my favorite recipes (including the fluffy lemon yogurt pancakes above!) that are absolutely perfect for this moment β whether you're hosting a crowd, baking for someone you love or just treating yourself on a slow Sunday morning (which is to say, my...
Hi Reader! This Toasted Macadamia Nut Chocolate Chip Cookie is all the things we're looking for in a cookie...and then some: Crispy edges with a chewy, bendy center Loaded with brown sugar (and just a touch of granulated sugar) for heaps of caramel and toffee flavors Studded with crunchy, creamy macadamia nuts, chewy dried cherries and puddles of dark chocolate Ready in 30 minutes (a no-rest dough!) But also, a no-rest dough that can handle chill time (if you need it) and freezes like a dream...
